Steve Hill appointed as new COGST Head Coach
We are delighted to announce that Glasgow City Council Cultural and Leisure Department has appointed Steve Hill as City of Glasgow Swim Team Head Coach accompanied by Louise Clayton as assistant swim coach to the Western Institute. Both took up their new posts on Monday 10th September.
Steve, on a four year contract, has also brought with him some of his very successful Reading team including Holly and Bryony Fox and Rebecca Cooke.

Australian Hill has been with Reading since 1995 and has achieved particular success as a distance coach, culminating in Rebecca Cooke's achievement of fifth place in the 1500 metres freestyle and sixth in the 800 metres at July 's world championships in Japan 2001.

Rebecca's successes have led to Steve playing an increasing role at national level as specialist women's distance coach to the British team.

We warmly welcome Steve, Louise and the swimmers to COGST and look forward to an exciting and successful season.
