Please note that whereas there is normally a maximum of three
subsidised meets during the year, it is the intention of the
Committee, funding permitting, to extend this to five.
The Committee will discuss this with Steve Hill over the next
couple of weeks.
In the meantime we would advise that the Stockport Meet is to
be one of the subsidised meets in which half of travel costs and
accommodation will be paid. There will be no subsidy for entry
fees.
At Grand Prix events senior entries will be paid by the club
but age group entries will not be subsidised.
The English Nationals will be, as usual, the only fully
subsidised event.
For those of you who have not looked at or considered Sports
Telecom (you should have received an information pack recently),
the Committee would ask you to seriously consider the same. It
is a genuine product for easy fund raising for the club which
would assist the Committee to be able to subsidise further
meets.
The Bath Grand Prix, Leeds Grand Prix and Inverness Christmas
Meet will all come under consideration for subsidy.
