Steve Hill, Head Coach has recommended
to the Committee that the presentation list as it stands does not
sufficiently reflect the improvement in our swimmers. Accordingly
there will be additional trophies as undernoted.
For this year only the parents of
swimmers will be advised that their child will be receiving an
award. This will not happen in future years. However, please note
that should the tickets for this event be sold out no special
allocation will be reserved for parents of these swimmers should
they not have ordered tickets beforehand.
Would all parents please ensure
that any notice of an Award be kept private and confidential.
There have unfortunately been too many happy parents who have told
children of their awards over the past couple of years, spoiling
the surprise.
The Club are anxiously seeking
sponsors for these trophies. They are not liable to be expensive.
Should any parent who could sponsor an award or two please contact
the Club Administrator or Secretary.
The Awards Night will be held in
the Coupar Institute, 86 Clarkston Road, Cathcart from 7.00pm -
12.30am. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children (tickets
