Day at M&Ds Strathclyde Park 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago

On saturday 15th August many swim kids and parents are heading to M&Ds for a bit of fun. Details nearer the time for meeting up but everyone welcome - parents, swimmers, brothers, sisters etc so if you are interested pop the date in your diary now. Great opportunity for kids to meet each other outwith the swimming pool and as it's a family day out there is virtually nothing to organise and each is responsible for their own so come along if you are free.

For info If a group of 12 going on rides the wrist band for the day costs £10.50 each which is good value, so team up with others. Also if you have a spree book you can get a discount through that.

sounds good but what time is everyone meeting up and where?? some of gold are going lookin forwards to it, sure it will be fun

Glad to hear Gold squad are looking forward to it....it'll be fun!!!! We are planning to meet at 11am in the foyer at the front main entrance to the Theme Park. We will then arrange a meeting time for lunch etc. Hopefully the sun will shine and we'll all have a fantastic day. This is open to all .....just a reminder though you do need to have an adult with you if you're under 16.

It was a great day and didn't rain once!!!!! We were apprehensive about the weather in the morning

but by the time we all met at 11am it was dry and stayed dry the rest of the day...the sun came out too!!!

There were kids from Bronze, Silver, Gold, National Development and National Age as well as brothers, sisters and friends too.! We all met at 2pm for lunch before heading back out to the park to enjoy the rides again, big wheel, water slides ...you name it the kids were on it, if they made the height restrictions, of course!!

A great time was had by all and some stayed as late as 6.30pm.

I think it's safe to say this has become an annual event now.
