French Open Water Cup Print E-mail

In the final round of the French Open Water Cup, over a 10km sea-course in the Mediterranean, City of Glasgow swimmer Mark Deans, despite being one of the youngest competitors in the 31-man field, took the silver medal in a time of 2:04:22.  Chris Ritchie and Jamie Forrest were 5th and 8th respectively.

In the 5km swim,  Jamie Forrest and Mark Deans were gold medallists within their age divisions and Chris Ritchie was a silver medallist in his age category.

Cogratulations to them all.
