Upcoming meet schedule(21st September)

In the next few months the Club intends to compete at the following meets. You should be aware of the closing dates for each meet and ensure forms are returned promptly along with correct payment. If your child does not get an entry form for a specific meet and you feel given the information below that they should have received one then please speak to your coach.

North Ayrshire Distance 17th /18th September –squads targeted will be Nat, Nat Dev, Nat Age and some gold)

West District Age Groups 1st / 2nd October – as it is age 14 & U the squads targeted will be Nat Age, Nat Dev and some Gold - due to qualifying times.

Alloa Graded Meet 15th / 16th October – squads targeted will be mainly Gold, Silver, Bronze squads

Meet Information will be coming out in the next few days for the following:

West District Open 30th / 31st October – due to qualifying times squads targeted will be Nat, Nat Age). Closing date to be confirmed.

M&B Open Meet 19th November-squads targeted will be Nat, Nat Age, Nat Dev and some from Gold. Closing date will be 28th Sep.

North Ayshire Graded 13th November – squads targeted will be mainly Gold, Silver and Bronze. Closing date will be 30th September

Boness Mini Meet 4th December – 13 and under only and this is an open meet therefore squads targeted will be Nat Age, Nat Dev and some Gold. Closing date will be 28th October

Knightswood pool is being closed for repair(22nd September 2005)

Knightswood pool is being closed for repair, the following has been arranged for Transition,Bronze ,and Gold Squads who currently train at Knightswood

Knightwood swimmers will now train at Drumchapel, until further notice.

Wednesday 5.00 -6.30pm Drumchapel
Friday 5.00 -6.30pm Drumchapel
Saturday 7.00 - 9.00am Scotstoun

Gold Squad

Monday 5.00 -6.30pm
Tuesday 5.00 -6.30pm
Wednesday 5.00 - 6.30pm
Friday 5.00 -6.30pm
Saturday 6.00 -9.00am Tollcross

Bag Packing 17th September at Sainsburys Darnley (21st September 2005)
Another bag Packing took place on 17th September at Sainsburys Darnley - to raise funds for warm weather camps. Unfortunately there was a small turnout due to a competition taking place that day, but those that were there worked hard and managed to raise just over £500 Many thanks to all those who helped.

Thanks to all the swimmers and parents who helped out at the bag packing last week in Sainsbury and raised over £900 for the trip to Spain. Some photos are available here
