It is the parent/swimmer’s responsibility to contact the team manager if the swimmer will not be attending the meet they have entered and been accepted for, or if the swimmer wishes to be withdrawn from a swim.

Please note that every swimmer must attend and report to the Team Manager or Coach at the START of the warm up time as indicated on the entry form for that meet. If a swimmer is running late and has not notified either the Team Manager or Coach, there is a risk of the swimmer being withdrawn from their swim.

New Committee Members Needed!!!

The management committee currently have several vacancies for new members to join the team. We are looking for willing, enthusiastic volunteers to give up a small amount of their time to help with the running of the club.

There are a number areas that we could do with extra support from advertising and marketing to organising social events and fundraising. No experience is necessary as full support will be given.
We meet once a month at The Adelphi Centre(right next to Gorbals Swimming Pool) and meetings normally last 2-3 hours.

For those that have considered joining the committee in the past now is a great time to try it out. Our AGM is in May so any new members will be co-opted on till then, at which time they can choose to stand for a further term.

We would love to see some new faces at our next committee meeting which will be at 6pm on Tuesday 7th February at the Adelphi Centre.

If you would like to come along please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

If you don’t fancy joining the committee but have a little spare time and any experience in the areas mentioned above we would still love to hear from you as we can always do with an extra pair of hands!!!

Progression is by group and age; the youngest members being 5-7 year olds within the Junior Foundation squads through to the most experienced members in the Senior Performance and Senior Club groups.

The aim of the club is to provide a swim programme recognised for excellence to swimmers of all levels and the opportunity for every swimmer with the desire and commitment to progress from novice to champion. Membership of COGST is available to any child in the community who has the capability and desire to swim competitively.
